Palau Business License Fees to be Issued on a Yearly Basis

Effective Immediately

The Palau government has announced that business license fees will be issued on a yearly basis, effective immediately. This new regulation affects all businesses operating in Palau and requires them to pay their fees accordingly.

Pro-Rated Fees

According to the new regulation, all original fees shall be pro-rated and one-fourth of the annual fee charged for each quarter or portion of a quarter remaining in the calendar year from the date of issuance. This means that business license fees will no longer be issued on a quarterly basis, but rather on an annual basis.

Fees and Payments

Businesses engaged in various activities are required to pay different fees ranging from $10.00 to $75.00. Payments should be made at the Ngardmau State Government office, located at:
