Agency for Banking Supervision: Regulating Financial Institutions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Agency for Banking Supervision (hereinafter referred to as “the Agency”) is an independent agency responsible for supervising and regulating banks, micro-credit organizations, and leasing companies in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

  • Reporting Requirements: Banks, micro-credit organizations, and leasing companies must submit reports to the Agency in accordance with regulations issued by the Central Bank.
  • Auditing: The Federal Agency in charge of auditing performs revisions to the Agency’s accounts and books.
