Mission and Objectives

The ODA’s mission is to audit, review, and advise on the management and accountability of public resources, with a vision of keeping watchful eyes to ensure the proper and optimum management of government resources. The office is responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive program for evaluating financial and operational systems and procedures of all government activities.
  • Examining financial transactions for accuracy and evaluating compliance with laws and regulations, cabinet decisions, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Appraising the timeliness, reliability, and usefulness of financial reports and statements, as well as the adequacy of controls for safeguarding state assets and liabilities.

Key Objectives
