WFP has been present in Guinea since 1964, providing nutritious and immediate food assistance to affected populations during and after crises. The WFP Guinea Country Office works with the Government to improve children’s school attendance and performance, enhance nutrition among the population, increase people’s livelihoods, build sustainable food systems, and communities’ resilience to shocks.
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Risk & Compliance Officer to join our team in Guinea- Conakry. The successful candidate will provide specialized support in establishing risk assessment and risk management activities and be interested in humanitarian work.
As a Risk & Compliance Officer, you will:
- Embed risk management in planning and decision-making across the office and all aspects of WFP operations
- Monitor key risk appetite metrics and risk indicators, and regularly update risk registers
- Support the collection of feedback and data on risk performance and contribute potential new implementation approaches
