Job Vacancy: Risk and Compliance Officer

Wildfin Financial Services, a leading microfinance institution in Zimbabwe, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Risk and Compliance Officer to oversee risk management and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across the organization
  • Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
  • Monitor and review risk management processes
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Conduct regular compliance training and awareness programs for employees

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or a related field
  • At least three years of experience as a risk and compliance officer
  • Extensive experience in operations management of microfinance institutions (preferably)
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of best business practices of microfinance institutions
  • Understanding of business loans
