Key Responsibilities


Embed Risk Assessment in Planning

Develop and Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • For managing the risk and compliance process
  • Facilitate periodic and ad-hoc risk assessments across regional, country, and field offices

Review and Challenge Risk Management Effectiveness

  • Across WFP operations
  • Support managers in fact-finding reviews and fraud risk assessments

Requirements


Education and Experience

  • Advanced University degree in business/public administration, finance, accounting, international development, or other relevant fields
  • At least 8 years of postgraduate experience in leading, undertaking, and/or contributing to risk management activities

Language Proficiency

  • Fluency in English (C-level) and intermediate knowledge of another official UN language

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop solutions that address root causes of risk

Additional Requirements


Programme/Project Management Experience

  • Strong training and capacity building skills, including organizing and facilitating trainings and assessments
  • Experience in conducting risk analysis and developing risk mitigation strategies
