Comprehensive Training Program on Risk Management in Banking
To address this challenge, the Ateneo de Manila University - Salcedo Campus is offering a comprehensive training program on Risk Management in Banking. The two-module intermediate-level qualification aims to equip banking professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to identify, assess, and manage various types of risks faced by banks.
Module 1: “Risk Management in Banking: Principles and Framework”
- Covers essential concepts such as bank risks, risk management principles, and international risk regulation
- Participants will learn about credit risk, operational risk, market risk, and liquidity risk, and how to identify and mitigate these risks
Program Director and Resource Person
The training program is led by Mr. John Philip Te, Vice President at Client Solutions Group of a global commercial bank and Program Director for the Quantitative Finance and Risk Management Series at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business- Center for Continuing Education (AGSB-CCE).
Ms. Mari Toni Bautista, Vice President under Financial Market Sales in ING Bank N.V. Manila Branch, will serve as a resource person for the program. With over nine years of experience in banking and finance, she has established her career footing in asset management, fixed income, and derivatives trading, and sales and structuring.
Training Kit and Program Schedule
The training kit includes a comprehensive book on Bank Risk Management Primer, published by the Bankers’ Association of the Philippines. The book provides real-world illustrations that relate theories to real-world events and illustrative examples that contextualize and elaborate on new and complex concepts.

Program Fee
The program fee is PHP 18,000.00 until August 19, and PHP 19,500.00 for regular rate.
