Compliance Officer Role Available

The British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) is seeking a qualified and experienced Compliance Officer to join its team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Developing policies, procedures, and standards for occupational health and safety
  • Conducting job hazard analyses to identify potential hazards and develop training programs to mitigate them
  • Investigating accidents and incidents to determine causes and implement corrective actions
• Providing advice and guidance on compliance issues to management and staff
• Inspecting facilities and conducting regular safety audits to ensure compliance with regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as occupational health and safety or industrial hygiene
• Relevant certifications, including Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or ability to obtain within one year
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively
