Recognition and Rewards for Whistleblowers

  • The institution is committed to making good faith efforts to protect the confidentiality of whistleblowers, while also ensuring that investigations are thorough and effective

Protection from Retaliation

  • A whistleblower shall be protected if:
    • Their disclosure is made in good faith
    • They have reasonable cause for their allegations
    • Their disclosure is made in accordance with the provisions of the Whistleblower and Witness Protection Act of 2015
  • The policy also provides protection against criminal or civil proceedings in respect of disclosures made under the act
