FCA Financial Crime Reporting Guidelines in Sweden to Come into Effect

From January 1st, all financial institutions subject to the Swedish Anti-Money Laundering Act must report annually to Finansinspektionen, the country’s financial watchdog. The reports will be made exclusively through the new FIDAC reporting system.
What to Report and When
Reporting Period
The annual reports will cover information from December 31st, 2023, with the last day for submission being March 31st, 2024. Reports can be filed as early as January 1st, 2024.
Changes in Reporting Guidelines
Some questions have been removed or revised from last year’s reporting guidelines. The amendments are outlined in a PDF document available on Finansinspektionen’s website.
