Turks and Caicos Islands Takes Significant Steps Against Money Laundering

The Turks and Caicos Islands government has demonstrated its dedication to combating money laundering by investing heavily in capacity building for law enforcement agencies and upgrading its systems. A Comprehensive Approach to Anti-Money Laundering

As a member and former chair of the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force (CFATF), the government has committed to taking all necessary actions against money laundering. A key component of this effort was the recent Anti-Money Laundering seminar series hosted by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) in collaboration with the Attorney General’s Chambers and the Financial Crimes Unit.
