Georgia Tech Employees Required to Complete Annual Compliance Training by December 19
As part of its commitment to promoting sound ethical judgment, integrity, and transparency among faculty, staff, Tech Temps, retired-but-working, and student employees, Georgia Tech is mandating that all active employees hired on or before October 3, 2022, complete the 2022 Annual Compliance Training.
What is the Purpose of the Training?
The training aims to promote compliance with University System of Georgia policies and obligations, while also providing employees with a comprehensive understanding of critical topics such as:
- Effective global engagement
- Export control and trade compliance
- External activity reporting
- Conflict of interest attestation
- Identifying and responding to sexual misconduct
- Data excellence
- University ethics training
- Cybersecurity awareness
What Does the Training Entail?
The 2022 Annual Compliance Training program consists of six modules, which can be completed on a desktop or laptop at the employee’s convenience. The total duration of the training is approximately 2.5 hours.
Important Deadline
The deadline for completing the Annual Compliance Training has been extended to December 19. Employees are encouraged to complete the training without feeling rushed, as failure to fully complete the training by midnight on December 19 may result in a formal disciplinary notice from Georgia Tech.
