Georgia Tech Mandates Annual Compliance Training for All Employees
Atlanta, GA - Georgia Tech Requires Annual Compliance Training
To maintain a safe and ethical work environment, Georgia Tech is requiring all active employees to complete the annual compliance training by December 19th.
What’s Included in this Year’s Training?
- Seven modules covering various topics:
- Export control and trade compliance
- External activity reporting
- Sexual misconduct
- Data excellence
- Ethics
- Cybersecurity awareness
The online training can be completed on desktop or laptop devices, and may take up to 2.5 hours to finish. Employees are not required to complete the training in one sitting, but must ensure that it is done by the deadline.
Important Notes to Keep in Mind
- Firefox browser cannot be used to access the Identifying and Responding to Sexual Misconduct module
- Conflict of interest attestation form must be submitted to receive credit for this module
Consequences of Not Completing Training
Employees who fail to complete the required modules by midnight on December 19th may face disciplinary action from the Institute. To ensure compliance, Georgia Tech has extended the deadline until December 19th.
