Three Arrests in Bermuda as Police Crack Down on Fraudulent Activities

The Bermuda Police Service made significant progress in an ongoing investigation into fraudulent activities, leading to three arrests and the seizure of cash and related items.

Dawn Raids and Arrests

According to a police spokesperson, the Financial Crime Unit executed dawn raids across the island on May 11, 2024, following an investigation into suspected fraud against a financial institution and one of its clients. Three suspects were apprehended and currently detained by officers.

• Cash, believed to be the proceeds of crime, and other related items were seized during the raids.
• The investigation continues with the suspects scheduled to appear before courts in due course.
