Ireland’s First Programme to Train Financial Professionals in Sustainable Finance

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must possess:

  • An Honours degree (Second class Honours Grade 2 award or higher)
  • Experience in financial services or professional advisory
  • Or have at least three years’ experience in financial services or professional advisory and completed a 30 ECTS Special Purpose Award. Exceptionally, individuals without a third-level qualification but with extensive relevant experience may also be admitted on a case-by-case basis.

Programme Requirements

Membership of the Compliance Institute or IOB is also required for admission to the programme. The diploma is awarded by University College Dublin (UCD) and is a level 8 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications.

Course Details

The next intake will take place in Spring 2023, with the programme fee set at €680 per module. The course content and fees are subject to change, but any changes will be outlined in the prospectus and on the IOB website in August.
