Comprehensive Training for Effective Office Operations Support

Focus Areas of the Training


  • Fraud Risk Management: The training focused on the Fraud Risk Management support function, which involves collecting evidence to respond to queries from OIAI (Office of Internal Audit and Investigations) when assessing allegations of fraud and misconduct or during actual investigations.
  • Global Anti-Fraud Strategy: Committee members were trained on implementing the global anti-fraud strategy, suggesting internal fraud prevention mechanisms, and alerting management on any fraudulent issues detected.

Capacity Building and Awareness Initiatives

  • Implementation of a continuous learning and development plan for the Risk and Compliance function to ensure that staff and other personnel understand key UNICEF policies, including:
