United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Supports Albania in Combating Drug Trafficking and Cybercrime

Training Capacity

To enhance the capabilities of Albanian authorities, UNODC renovated and equipped a training facility at the Border Police headquarters in Vlora. This state-of-the-art facility enables them to handle drug-related data efficiently and effectively combat human trafficking.

Study Tour

A group of Albanian officers and prosecutors participated in a study tour in Brussels, where they gained valuable insights into different approaches used by EU countries in investigating human trafficking cases. This hands-on learning experience will help inform their strategies in Albania.
