- Responsible for ensuring the government’s laws are up to date and effective
- Skilled in “legal archaeology” research and application of domestic legislation
- Enjoys trains and has a James Bond-inspired claim to fame
Paul Shafi: Website Development and Technical Support
- Developed software for over two decades
- Responsible for maintaining the government’s website and providing technical support
- Worked on various projects, including the development of the .gs domain

Meet Dee Baum: Government Officer

- Over 30 years of experience as a career diplomat
- Worked in remote environments, including Pitcairn Island and North Korea
- Excited to apply her communication, collaboration, and advocacy skills to support the South Georgia government
Meet Hannah Johns and Laura Ling: Postal Officers
- Responsible for managing the King Edward Point post office
- Hannah’s journey began when she visited South Georgia as a tourist and later worked at the Grytviken Post Office
- Laura has traveled extensively throughout the world and is looking forward to experiencing South Georgia’s unique ecosystem-in-recovery
