  • Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Grooming Program: Targets risk management professionals with the objective of preparing them for CRO roles. The program consists of two modules: leadership and strategy, delivered by a leading university in North America, and technical risk management training, to be conducted by a Big 4 firm in May 2023.
  • Internal Shari’ah Auditor Grooming Program: Launched to address the growing need for qualified Shari’ah audit professionals. The program consisted of an intensive two-week technical Shari’ah audit training delivered by a leading Shari’ah audit and advisory firm in Bahrain.

  • Three sessions have been organized so far, featuring leaders from Ahli United Bank, Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait, and Standard Chartered Bank.

  • Market Research Survey: The Waqf Fund has signed up with the University of Bahrain to conduct a market research survey on Islamic banking preferences in Bahrain.
